Tips and recycling near you
If you’d rather take things yourself, Warrington’s community recycling centres are at Gatewarth, Woolston and Stockton Heath. A van or trailer visit to Gatewarth may need a free permit from the council.
Permits are free and cover up to three visits in 12 months, and the council asks for 48 hours’ notice. A single trip with a small amount of household waste doesn’t need one. See the council’s recycling centre page. For a whole house, one clearance is usually easier than a dozen trips.
Areas we cover: your questions
Do you cover my area?
We cover the whole of Warrington, including Warrington town centre, Stockton Heath, Lymm, Culcheth, Great Sankey, Birchwood, Penketh, Grappenhall, Latchford, Padgate, Appleton, Croft and Winwick. If yours isn’t listed, WhatsApp us your postcode and we’ll tell you.
Do you charge extra for villages outside the town centre?
No. We add nothing for travel anywhere we cover, from Lymm to Culcheth, and the van-load price stays the same.
Which postcodes do you cover?
WA1 to WA5 and WA13. If you’re just outside, for example in Widnes or Runcorn, WhatsApp us your postcode and we’ll confirm before you book.
Do you cover villages like Appleton Thorn, Hatton and Daresbury?
Yes. We cover the villages and the smaller places between the towns too. If you’re not sure, WhatsApp us your postcode and we’ll confirm before you book.
How much does house clearance cost in my area?
The price is the same across our whole area: £150 for a quarter van, £250 for a half, £350 for three quarters and £400 for a full van. We confirm the fixed price after a free viewing, video call or photos.
Can you clear a flat in the town centre or Latchford?
Yes, we carry from any floor. Mention stairs, lifts and parking when you book, as they can affect the price.
Where is my nearest recycling centre?
Warrington’s community recycling centres are Gatewarth, Woolston and Stockton Heath. A van or trailer visit to Gatewarth may need a free permit, arranged with the council at least 48 hours ahead. For a whole house, a single clearance is usually simpler than lots of trips.
How soon can you come?
WhatsApp us and we’ll offer you the next free day. We work Monday to Saturday.
Do you clear homes after a bereavement or for landlords?
Yes. Give us your deadline and anything you want to keep, and we’ll plan around it.
Not sure we cover you?
WhatsApp us your postcode and a photo or two of what’s going, and we’ll quote a fixed price.
